Discord Intelligence Archiver
Fetches messages and alerts from Discord channels and stores them in files, PostgreSQL, OpenSearch or InfluxDB.
Project Overview
Many tools send their alerts to Discord, where they are hard to search or analyze later. This fetcher pulls messages from chosen channels, past and new, and stores them where they can be queried.
Implementation Process
- Built on discord.py; fetches from one or more channels, with optional full history.
- Storage backends: JSON file, PostgreSQL, OpenSearch and InfluxDB, chosen by environment variables or flags.
- Optional OpenTelemetry tracing and configurable logging.
Results
Alert history lands in a database or search index, ready for dashboards and investigations.

- Time-series storage enables trend charts in Grafana.
